The aim of this website, syntetically presented, is to get the visitor acquainted
with the norman people. Their way, developed in the middle ages, starts from their homeland, the scandinavian contriers,
towards the south of Italy where they founded the kingdom of Sicily.
A special attention is drawn to the Altavilla family and to Mileto, in Calabria.
